Ninja dabs.
Name: OG Kush
From: private dealer
Grade: A+
Type: hybrid, 70-80% sativa dominant
Price: n/a
Oil yield: 3.3 grams of pure gold
Looks: trichome coated swollen calyxes with patches of bright orange hairs, leaf coverage is minimal, and they’re covered in trichs, overall lighter green hue, characteristic of sativa dominance. The bho budder has consistently come out a brilliant yellow, almost white color.
Smell: this is the epitome of Kush. Slight fruity tones, paired with a citrus mint aroma thats cooling through the nose, backed by a hashy earthiness. I wish they made OG Kush air fresheners, it smells that good.
Taste: Kush to a t. This is why OG Kush is probably the most mentioned strain by rappers, and connoisseurs alike. Clear, earthy essence that coats the mouth, followed by a lemony, yellow flavor, like a hard candy. Still breathing a hash taste 5 minutes after, and it’s pure bliss.
Buzz type: uppy, energetic, enlightened. Very motivating, my work ethic heightened even after a few good dabs. It’s an eyebrow raiser, very euphoric, but also still very good with daily aches. Noticed it relieved pressure around my eyes, and has also seemed to help my astigmatism. Very mental, but still physically relaxing.
Buzz length: 2 hrs plus, no noticeable burn out effect either. Great day time strain.
Overall: This bud has made me feel spoiled. Somebody pinch me, have I really been smoking OG Kush continually for a month? Cant stop. Wont stop. Absolute cannabis luxury, the flavor, the smell, the looks, the oil, I definitely see what the buzz is about. A+++, hate to be so typical, but this true SoCal grown OG is definitely the best bud I’ve ever smoked. Blue ribbon.
Name: Bubba Kush
From: private dealer
Grade: A-
Type: heavily indica dominant.
Price: n/a
Oil yield: 3.1 grams
Looks: Relatively leafy for medicinal nug, seems typical of the strain. All leaves left on are heavily coated with trichomes. Denser and more round shaped nuggets than the OG. Rich green outer appearance, with a bright green inside. Orange hairs tightly cling to the bud structure. Flower leaves are also apparently broader, signifying indica dominance.
Smell: Very earthy upfront, with a sugar sense to it. Strong hash smell, very natural, subtle tones to this one.
Taste: Very earthy, kind of reminds me of kava root juice. The oil coats your mouth with a hash essence that lasts significantly long. It does have a sugary hint to it like the smell and genes suggest, kind of like a hash bubble gum, if you will. It’s actually really delicious.
Buzz type: Uncle bubba will put you asleep where you sit. Eyes are immediately low and red, I’ve stretched and yawned 3 or more times in less than 30 minutes, I think. Undoubtedly indica dominant, the sedative effect brings a sense of hilarity. Our grocery run was funnier than it was time consuming, and it took like an hour at least. Seems to produce the ‘i could give a fuck’ factor, and multiple, “I’m so stoned”s. Which is my reason for the down grade, I’m more partial to the sativa buzz.
Buzz length: I have no idea, time was irrelephant.
Overall: A plus flavor, no doubt, in the oil and the flower. Definitively a true connoisseur strain. The stone is way to heavy for any amateurs, and it lacks the fruity smell, and bright green appearance. Past all that is a classic strain. Uncle bubba will sit you on the couch and tell you stories till you fall asleep. Very sedating, one of the reasons it’s not an a plus for me, took me way too long to write this review, I think. Great night time or pain relieving strain.
